Mariana was great since the first interaction. She guided us with a methodology on how to have a mood board and our color palette, considering our personal style on it. I worked with Mariana at Estudio Rogama to furnish a new apartment in Playa del Carmen in 2022, and I was very impressed with her design skills and her professionalism.
Mariana coordinated the entire project from beginning to end, recommending specific items for everything from large pieces of furniture and appliances all the way down to small finishing touches like coffee table decorations. She also coordinated contractors to do work like painting, installation, and custom furniture and cabinetry design and manufacturing.
Unlike some other interior designers who hide their fees inside a quoted "package price", Mariana documented her fees explicitly up front so that I knew exactly what I would be paying. For the furniture and furnishings, she gave me a complete inventory list including photos, model numbers, and vendors so that I could order and pay for all of the items myself, knowing that there were not any hidden markup fees.
Although I was present at the apartment while a lot of the work was being performed, the whole process was very streamlined and I would feel comfortable doing it again without actually being there. That would be a great benefit for nonresident owners who may have purchased a vacation or investment property remotely.
I now have a beautifully furnished apartment, thanks to Mariana's work. Whether you are furnishing an apartment for yourself or for a rental unit, I would wholeheartedly recommend working with Estudio Rogama.

I needed someone to design and outfit my condo for short term rental. Right from the start she had great ideas and clear communication. Not only did the condo look absolutely fabulous she did it quickly and on budget, while I was in California..She sent me a video of it completed plus a inventory of what was in place. She made it beautiful and easy for me, grateful to have worked with her.

We live in California, USA, and recently bought a condo on Mexico’s Riviera Maya. It was a preconstruction purchase intended as a vacation rental. When it came time to prepare the condo for occupancy, I searched for an interior designer to bring it up to turnkey status as a rental. I emailed several design firms in the area describing our project, the time frame and budget.
Mariana at Estudio Rogama was one of those who responded. We set up a video call and after clarifying what we were looking for and seeing her ideas, we hired her. In addition to providing an attractive design, she coordinated the purchase of everything needed in each room, took delivery of the items and supervised the set up and installation of everything. No detail was overlooked. She even advised having furniture of a certain type of local wood that would hold up best in the humidity since our unit is close to the shore.
Her handling the logistics of designing, ordering, receiving, storing, installing, arranging, decorating, – just everything, was especially helpful since our presence in Mexico was not required during the set up. Our experience with Estudio Rogama was excellent.

I utilized Mariana to help with the design of my 1-bedroom condo at Ipana in Playa del Carmen. Her process of working with me was welcome, and creating a view by room was easy in visualizing what the final outcome would be. The creation of a detail list, with source of the product, made it easy for me to order, and final selections in person was an easy process. She coordinated delivery and setup while I was in USA. Everything came out fine and the condo is beautiful. I would recommend her highly for any future interior designs.
